This plug-in can be used to choose one or more nodes in the scene and create "exploded" geometry.

General Usage Instructions

Choose the menu option from App Store menu "Explode Selected Geometry"

First select the nodes that you want to explode (you have an option to maintain the original geometry if desired). From the UI element that you assigned the plug-in action to, select it and a dialog will come up.

Select the options, and then select "Explode Selected Geometry". You can choose to create three or four sided objects as a result of the explode operation.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from Autodesk App Store has already installed the plug-in. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall it as you would any other application from your system.
