The SketchUp Import plug-in adds two ways to get SKP files into your AutoCAD drawings. Use the IMPORTSKP command to convert a SketchUp file, stored in a local or shared folder, and insert the model into the current drawing. The GETMODEL command allows you to browse or search the Google 3D Warehouse and download SketchUp models directly into your drawing.

  • Failed to import SU2014 saved as SU8
    Max Nickles | April 09, 2014

Not working using latest SU and Autocad2014.

  • Known Limitation with newer SKP files
    Karen Mason | November 04, 2013

Unfortunately, there is an issue with importing newer SKP files with the SketchUp App. The problem did not occur on the old version of SketchUp (version 8.0.16846). The workaround is to Save the file in the new version of SketchUp (version 13.0.3689) and choose “Save as type” as “SketchUp Version 8”, then it can be imported into AutoCAD successfully.

  • doesn't work with AutoCAD Mechanical 2013 or AutoCAD 2013 (Vanilla)
    Kristin Lindberg | October 29, 2013

would be better if it worked. I'm using AutoCAD Mechanical 2013 full version as well as AutoCAD 2013 Vanilla and this plugin does not work with sketchup files we are receiving. 2 stars for anticipation.

  • Materiais errados e versão atrasada
    Raul Chagas | May 04, 2013

Os mapas de opacidade vem com bugs. Palmeiras por exemplo que possuem folhas vazadas, são importadas de maneira irregular. Este aplicativo deveria ser atualizado para a versão 2014.

  • incorrectly mapped textures
    Brian York | March 25, 2013

This is a very handy plugin if you only need to get the geometry into AutoCAD. The textures do not map correctly at all. Not even close. Although they tell me they are working on it. I hope they figure it out soon.
