Then ... ? didnt get anything from what you wrote?? please write step by step

Please make sure you have a compatible AutoCAD program from the list on the right under Download details. After you select Free, you should be prompted by your browser to run or save AutodeskImportSkp.msi file. Did you run the MSI file and go thru the Installer?

  • Works but....
Chris Castelein | February 10, 2015 Verified Download (What's this?)

Installed on ACA 2015. Doesn't show up on any ribbon, but importskp command works. nut sure why any button on the add-ins panel doesn't show. Please fix.

Hi Chris, The Import SKP ribbon panel in the Add-ins tab appears on my ACA 2015. Can you run the CUILOAD command and see if SKETCHUPIMPORTSKP is listed? If not, can you load it? I think it can be found in this folder: (C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\Autodesk ImportSkp.bundle\Contents\Resources\en-us\SketchUpImportSkp.cuix). If that doesn't work, can you provide the version number of the Import Sketchup app? It can be found in the Exchange App Manager.

well, good news bad news. as before it wasn't showing but worked. I went to cuiload and it was listed as being loaded. I unloaded it and loaded it from my user support (because it showed there) and I now saw it listed in "plug-ins" but now it doesn't work. either by icon or command line. I unloaded it again and loaded it from your stated path and same result. soooo. now I have it loaded and showing but doesn't work. so not improving. Any ideas?

Spoke too soon. rebooted machine and now ribbon button works under plug-ins. thanks.

Hi Chris, Glad to hear it's working for you. I am a little surprised that it appears in the "Plug-ins" tab instead of the "Add-ins" tab. What is the version number of the Import Sketchup app? It can be found in the Exchange App Manager. It's not a big deal, just curious.

  • Known Limitation with new SKP files
Karen Mason | November 04, 2013 Verified Download (What's this?)

Unfortunately, there is an issue with importing newer SKP files with the SketchUp App. The problem did not occur on the old version of SketchUp (version 8.0.16846). The workaround is to Save the file in the new version of SketchUp (version 13.0.3689) and choose “Save as type” as “SketchUp Version 8”, then it can be imported into AutoCAD successfully.

  • 挿入点
紀夫 大島 | June 07, 2013 Verified Download (What's this?)

    * * * * "Insertion point" 'Norio, Oshima' "I tried to convert data and it converted complex shapes without any problems. Many thanks. However, I cannot coordinate alignment for imported SKP files in model space- that is, the insertion point at the coordinate origin of SKP models you want." Oshima, is this what you meant to say regarding insertion point in AutoCAD? Please correct. ありがとうございました
