Description

The BIMobject® App for Autodesk® Revit® is one of our most advanced apps. The BIMobject® is the perfect tool for architects and everyone else looking for an app with more advanced features.

This app has all of the latest features including cloud integration, direct download, product information updates and version checking. It also includes integrated BIMail™ functions, a news section and a toolbar with featured manufacturers.

BIMobject Open Property Cloud, BOPC™, sets future standards for extended properties, also known as parameters, meta data or attributes. It allows the manufacturer to add properties such as classification systems in a smart way.

Integrates standards into objects A BOPC™ system sets future standards such as standardised classification systems for properties and clarifies to the market who owns the information in an easy and practical way.

Additional property sets A BOPC™ can be used for additional properties in objects. Advanced users can add hidden properties to objects to drive logistics and purchasing at a later stage in the BIM-process.

COBie compliant COBie is the UK classification which is needed to make objects compliant for the government. Government required data can be dynamically loaded into objects via BIMobject Apps such as Operation and Maintenance properties. Importantly any future classification system for any country can be added in this way.

Multiple property sets It is possible to create several property sets within one cloud, that as an example can define information about operations and maintenance, specifications and sustainability.

Settings for limited access A BOPC can be open to all users or limited to a defined group. An owner of a BOPC  can create unique user groups, to limit access to the information, for instance a design team. It can also be public or project related.

BIM object for revit 2016?? date of relase

    Ben ODonnell (Publisher) | August 18, 2015

BIMobject 3.0 and 2016 support. Just a quick update on the status on the BIMobject app. The new version of the BIMobject® Revit app has been submitted for approval. There has been one issue that has been identified, it has to do with Revit 2013. We are in the process of fixing the issue. Once the bug has been fixed, the app should be released immediately after. The main reason the app has taken so long this time round is due to many factors, one of them is our brand new BOPC™ technology. More about BOPC™ can be found on bimobject.com Thank you all for your patients, the BIMobject Revit 3.0 app will be available very soon. Please don't hesitate to contact us at BIMobject if you have any questions. Ben

    BIMobject for revit 2014?

  • Good but lacking
MICHAEL WARE | August 29, 2012 Verified Download (What's this?)

The plugin is really just a web interface shortcut but its nice that's easy to access. The problem I had was the amount of content available. There really isn't very much to use, for example when filtered for appliances it brought up less than 20 hits and the majority were power panels. More content is definitely needed. Otherwise it does work.

  • Finally! Automaic loading of components directly into Revit.
Ben Flygare | June 04, 2012 Verified Download (What's this?)

At last. An app that loads in components, doors and windows automaticaly, saves me a lot of time unzipping and loading components. Love this little app.

    Kristoffer Bengtsson | February 24, 2014

Hi! Love this app as well. Just wondering if you use it for interior design or for construction?
